All cats are murderous sociopaths, you just dont fit in their mouth and likely wouldn’t hold still long enough for them to eat you. They’re playing the long game.
I love cats, but keep them inside.

A friend had a Malamute. Malamutes have high prey drive and a bad choice to keep with cats.
She heard her Malamute crying in the back hall because her orange cat had trapped her Malamute in the hall and wouldn’t it come out. Her Malamute wanted that cat kept outside.
(I know what you mean and agree
about keeping cats inside
